Christine holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney where she majored in physics and subsequently completed the honours program, also in physics. She has taught mathematics and science at high school level for six years both privately and for coaching colleges. For the past two years, she has also tutored graduate students preparing to take the GAMSAT. In her spare time, Christine volunteers as a local youth leader.
Tomer has completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry (The University of Melbourne) and has also just completed his PhD. He is now doing a postdoctorate in Germany. He is highly passionate about chemical research, particularly in the field of surface science and technology. Tomer enjoys sharing his knowledge of chemistry with others and loves to get hands-on in the garden. Tomer scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Christiane studied her Masters in Public Health at The University of Sydney. She has extensive experience in tutoring the GAMSAT, as well as in anatomy and physiology. She is the most versatile member of the Sydney team, excelling in both Biology and Physics, in addition to her core of Chemistry. Christiane scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Elliot is a MBBS student at Griffith University, where he is an anatomy tutor and prosector. Elliot holds several leadership positions, such as being on the Advisory University Board and the President of the Surgical Interest Association. Elliot is passionate about education and is determined to expand his student’s horizons in Biology.
Erica has extensive experience teaching in a variety of forums, and has coached debating at high school level for 5 years. While working as a solicitor, Erica took on learning and development roles in both the public and private sectors. Erica has also survived GAMSAT and will be commencing medicine at the University of Sydney in 2014. Erica scored in the top 3% for Section I and top 1% for Section II.
A graduate of the University of Queensland, Shiv has extensive experience in teaching – she taught English for over 7 years and GAMSAT for over 3 years. She has also tutored at the University of Queensland and Brisbane Grammar School. Outside of tutoring, Shiv works as a lawyer for the Queensland Government. In addition to her legal qualifications, she is also a professional mediator. Shiv scored in the top 5% for Section I and top 1% for Section II.
Stewart has lectured and tutored in philosophy at UWA, Edith Cowan University, Monash University, Australian National University and the University of Sydney. He holds a PhD in philosophy from ANU and is currently enrolled in his third year of medicine at the University of Melbourne.
Alex is a Griffith uni student with an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering. In between engineering and medicine, Alex worked as a research engineer for Cook medical designing and testing new delivery systems for endovascular stent grafts (the ones that treat aneurysms of the thoracic and abdominal aorta and its branches). Alex hopes to combine his engineering and medical degrees in the form of heading up a medical device research group later on in his career.
Having done an Arts degree focused on government and international relations, Jack is currently a MD student at the University of Sydney, He has extensive experience in coaching and tutoring, both one-to-one and in larger class sizes. In addition to his studies, he has taken on mentoring and leadership roles whilst at university for many clubs and societies. Jack scored in the top 1% for Section I and top 3% for Section II.
Damian graduated top of his class with a Bachelor of Medical Biotechnology with Honours from the University of South Australia before completing a PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Adelaide. He subsequently spent six years working for the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, first as a post-doctoral scientist and then as the recipient of a prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship. Damian has published over a dozen papers in international journals, presented his research at numerous international conferences, and was selected to represent the Australian Society of Plant and Animal Scientists at the 2013 Hope Meeting in Tokyo, Japan; a mentoring workshop with seven Nobel Laureates. Damian previously worked for 18 months as an English language instructor in Tokyo, and has tutored and given lectures in the fields of biology and biochemistry at the Universities of Adelaide and Copenhagen. He is currently completing the first year of his MD at Flinders University. Damian took the GAMSAT exam in 2013 and scored in the top 3% for Section I, the top 2% for Section II, and the top 1% for Section III.
Shihab is currently a combined Science/Medicine (MD) student at Flinders University, where he is also employed as a facilitator for several first year university subjects. He has two years experience tutoring science subjects, including biology, chemistry and physics. Shihab is passionate about learning and hopes to inspire his students in physics.
Sam is a student of a dual degree in Arts and Law at the University of Queensland, and he will be commencing his medical degree at the same university in 2015. He has tutored for three years arts and law subjects at a residential college. He enjoys sailing, hiking, and politics. Sam placed in the top 3% of section I and the top 1% of section II of the GAMSAT.
Alex is a MD student at the University of Melbourne and completed his Bachelor of Biomedicine in 2012. He has been teaching university anatomy for almost two years. His other interests include endurance sports, foreign languages and travel. Alex scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Nazha has teaching experience both at an undergraduate and masters level in the field of public health (biostatistics). Having completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University, she is currently a MD at the University of Melbourne. In her free time she loves travelling and trying out new restaurants. Nazha scored in the top 5% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Peter is a Bachelor of Biomedicine student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Human Structure and Function. He has a strong interest in teaching, and has extensive experience in teaching Physics to individuals and classes. His other interests include snowboarding, kickboxing and chess. Peter scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Having recently graduated from her Bachelor of Science degree, Suneha is a new University of Queensland alumnus. Intensely passionate about literature and literary criticism, Suneha has gained over three yearsÕ experience as a secondary and tertiary-level tutor of Advanced English, including creative writing and critical theory. In her free time, you may catch Suneha sketching the hours away as a freelance digital illustrator, or with her nose buried in some literary artefact of Golden Age Russia. Suneha scored in the top 1% for Sections I and II of the GAMSAT.
Julia is a Doctor of Medicine student at the Flinders University, having previously completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University in 2013. She holds over 3 years experience in teaching and tutoring, and is keen to incite passion for the humanities in her students. Julia scored in the top 5% for section 1 and top 1% for section 2 of the GAMSAT.
Alex is completing a Bachelor of Communications and Economics at the University of Western Australia, and is a widely published freelance writer and editor. In addition to five years of tutoring experience, he has worked with publishing companies and peak youth writing bodies, and has interests in environmentalism, art history and experimental music. Alex achieved a tertiary entrance ranking in the top 0.3%, and was a recipient of the Australian Student Prize for being one of the top five hundred graduating students nationwide.
Amelia's considerable teaching experience includes lecturing and tutoring undergraduate English in a range of university subjects, teaching high school English classes for coaching colleges, and privately tutoring high school students in English and Mathematics. She is in the final stages of completing a PhD in eighteenth-century literature at the University of Sydney. Her research interests include the relationship between literature and medicine.
Jayden holds a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) from the University of Sydney with Honours in Microbiology. He also majored in Physics prior to his Honours year, and has taught physics and mathematics at a high school level. Jayden scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Reuben is a MD student at Flinders University. Reuben began studying at the university of Adelaide in 2011 with a principal's scholarship. In 2013 he completed the Bsc (Advanced) with a double major in chemistry and in 2014 graduated with 1st class honours. Reuben has experience demonstrating chemistry practicals at a tertiary level and scored in the top 4% for section III.
Hannah leads our exceptional Brisbane team to maintain the integrity of GradReady. A current University of Queensland student studying Economics and Arts, Hannah has held various positions within the UQ Economics Society executive and customer focused industries as well as being an active member of Hong Kong Australia Business Association. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys playing netball and tennis.
Nikita is currently completing the Juris Doctor at Melbourne Law School. Prior to undertaking her postgraduate studies, she graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts, majors in Politics and International Studies, and Geography. Nikita uses her customer management and administrative skills to ensure the operations at Melbourne run smoothly and efficiently. Outside of her work and studies, Nikita coaches rowing and enjoys playing in social sporting competitions such as netball.
Dan completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) at Griffith University in 2013, he is a currently a first-year Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Melbourne. With over 4 years teaching and tutoring experience, Dan has a passion for enhancing the quality of education and training. He has previously worked for the United Nations Association Australia and Amnesty International Australia, and has personal interests in human and animal rights, environmental action, philosophy and contemporary literature. Dan achieved in the top 3% for Section II for the GAMSAT.
Hailey is a Bachelor of Science student at the University of Queensland, who has over two year's experience as a tutor in maths and chemistry, both at a high school and a tertiary level. She is the winner of numerous scholarships including the prestigious Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship at UQ. Hailey loves teaching, and aims to extend this into her career in the future. She hopes to pursue postgraduate studies including a PHD in the next few years. In her spare time, she enjoys playing table tennis and chess.
Robert graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2013, and a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours Class I in 2014. He commenced in the MD program at UQ in 2015, and in 2016 began concurrently studying a Master of Philosophy in the fields of nephrology and urology. Robert has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pathology, physiotherapy, anatomy and nutrition/dietetics at UQ. He has worked with GradReady since late 2014, predominantly specializing in biology and physics tutoring. He scored in the top 4% for all sections of the GAMSAT.
Rose is currently a third year studying for a double degree in the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) and Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Science at the University of Adelaide. She is majoring in physical chemistry and applied mathematics and has four years experience tutoring in chemistry and mathematics both privately and to small classes. In her spare time she loves running, cycling and reading.
Amy graduated with a B. Medical Science from the University of New South Wales, with First Class Honours. Currently, she is a first year MD student at the University of Queensland, balancing this with her passion for St John volunteering, badminton, and involvement in a medical society. In addition, Amy enjoys teaching, exemplified by over 4 years of dedication to students ranging from year 3 to university, focusing on maths, English, biology, chemistry.
Doug is a currently studying medicine at the University of Sydney, where he is also active in research into cardiovascular disease processes. Doug has an established track record in tutoring undergraduate sciences and he joins many of the other GradReady tutors in having scored within the top 1% in Section III of the GAMSAT.
Ben studies the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland, and before this completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science. He scored in the 97th percentile for UMAT. He began tutoring Physics and Chemistry with GradReady in 2016, and has several years experience tutoring high school students. In his spare time, Ben plays touch football, AFL and cricket.
Katie is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland where she went on to complete an Honours in Immunology. She is currently in the second year of her MD at Griffith University where she is working as an anatomy tutor. She has been tutoring university and high school level english and science courses privately for the last 6 years, and worked as a humanities tutor and essay marker for Gradready in 2015. Outside of work Katie enjoys painting and play sport.
Nipuni is currently a third year Doctor of Medicine student at The University of Melbourne, having completed a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology at Melbourne University. She achieved in the top 2% for Section I and top 5% for section II of the GAMSAT, and has 2 years tutoring experience in this field. She is passionate about making learning interactive and enjoyable.
James graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010 with first-class Honours in Physics, before embarking on a long meandering journey to study Medicine at Melbourne Uni. James loves to talk about science - since his undergraduate days he has tutored students in Physics, Chemistry, Biomechanics and just about everything Science-related (even Primary Maths Education)! In his monthly ten minutes away from the books James enjoys planting veggies in his garden, but spends more time chasing away white cabbage moth and the neighbors’ cats.
Bibiana is in the third year of her PhD in Anthropology at the University of Melbourne. After majoring in Spanish and Anthropology during undergrad, she now combines her love of all things Latin America with her current ethnographic research of Panama. In addition to this, Bibiana currently tutors undergraduate subjects at Melbourne University, co-convenes the postgrad group Ethnoforum, and spends her free time obsessing over her pet rabbit.
Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, which she completed in 2015, majoring in Languages and Linguistics. She has been tutoring at VCE level since 2011 and has been employed at GradReady since early 2015. She is a passionate reader and writer, and loves working with students to improve their knowledge of and skills in the Humanities. She currently works for the Victorian government.
Claire is a medical student at Flinders University, SA. She has an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University of Adelaide and has completed an honours program in psychiatry. Claire has an interest in movement disorders and exercise physiology. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit and keeping up with the latest film releases.
Sam graduated last year from the University of Western Australia with First Class Honours in Law. He has spent a lot of time helping students present arguments as persuasively as possible, whether on their feet in the courtroom or in writing. Outside of law and advocacy, Sam enjoys snowboarding, creative writing and two-thirds of a triathlon (the swim leg remains a work in progress).
Taylen graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. He didn’t want to face adult life just yet, however, so he commenced the MD program at the University of Melbourne in 2015 to put off having to grow up for another 4 years. In 2016, he took the year off to study a Masters of Screenwriting at VCA. His hobbies include reading, binge watching TV shows, and planning his speech for when he wins an Academy Award.
Diana is an incoming Honours student in both Chemistry and Music at UNSW. Having been a tutor for over 3 years, her students have achieved stand-out results through her fun, organised and targeted teaching plans. In her spare time, Diana is a supporter of the Musical Arts, and loves to travel.
Sarah is currently studying medicine at the University of Western Australia, after completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Neuroscience. She has several years tutoring experience at both the high school and university level. Sarah scored in the top 2% for Section III of the GAMSAT in 2014.
Natalia graduated with a B.A. (major French, minor Creative Writing) from Melbourne University in 2012. In addition to tutoring for the GAMSAT, she has experience tutoring verbal reasoning and reading comprehension for entry into selective schools, as well as essay/thesis writing up to a masters level. Natalia is a published author and writes feature articles for a selection of national magazines. She is currently completing a B.Sc. at Melbourne University.
Adrian has over 3 years of experience teaching physics and mathematics. He has taught across a variety of group and private formats, including tutoring at the University of Sydney. He has a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and an Honours degree in Physics. He is currently taking his passion for logic and understanding to its extreme and is undertaking a PhD in theoretical physics, specifically Quantum Field theory in curved spacetimes.
Jason is in the penultimate year of his Commerce/Law degree at the University of New South Wales. Having gained experience within the legal sector, Jason looks to apply his client management and organisational skills to drive the Sydney team to success. In his spare time, Jason likes playing poker, basketball, and watching TV shows.
Chris completed a Masters of Infectious diseases programme at the University of Western Australia with aspirations of completing a PhD. He graduated UWA in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. Chris’s other interests include soccer, chess and rock climbing.
Leigh holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. He has been a recipient of multiple scholarships and gained a broad range of tutoring and teaching experience. Along with teaching maths and physics, Leigh has also gained qualification in teaching English language to international students.
Noel leads the Melbourne team to ensure it operates at a standard of excellence. Currently completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, Noel has held positions within the legal sector and the marketing industry. Outside of his work, Noel enjoys rock climbing and playing basketball.
Roy is currently in his first year of medical school at Flinders University. He had completed a degree in Biological and Medical Sciences. Roy had taught science privately and is currently at science tutor at Flinders University. He had won national research awards and is currently studying gene therapies for ocular diseases. He enjoys movies and reading. Roy scored in the top 5% for section III of the GAMSAT.
Erainia is currently in her first year of medicine at the University of Sydney. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology, Erainia has a strong background in the biomedical sciences. Erainia is also passionate about education, and has extensive teaching experience in both primary and high school settings. Erainia scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Michael was a psychology student at the University of Western Australia. He has been heavily involved in debating and mentoring programs, which gave him much experience in both public speaking and tutoring. Michael graduated Dux of his school with an assured pathway to law but decided to try medicine in 2016. He has a particular interest in mental health and Volunteering, and was a Careers Officer for the UWA Psychology club. Michael scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
James has more than three years experience in tutoring maths, chemistry and physics at high school and university levels. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney in chemistry and biochemistry, and is currently a first year MD at the University of Sydney. James scored in the top 1% for Section III of the 2012 GAMSAT.
Having taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Kieran has a passion for tutoring. He holds a bachelor\'s degree in Medical Science with a first class honours in biochemistry. He works for a private company developing highly sensitive prognostic proteomic assays for a variety of cancer types. Kieran scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT.
Guy is a first-year MD student at UWA and possesses a BSc in Microbiology and Pathology. With over three years experience tutoring Year 12 students in science and a Section III raw score of 95, Guy is both comfortable and capable of providing high-quality tutelage to optimise your GAMSAT experience.
Larsa is a first year medical student at the University of Queensland. She hails from North America, having lived in both Canada and America. Larsa completed a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience at Duke University in North Carolina in 2011 before conducting two years of clinical research in the areas of neurotrauma and epilepsy. She taught physics for the MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test) for 14 months, then traveled for 6 months before arriving in Australia.
Luke completed his honours degree under the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) Program in 2015. In his undergraduate, he held a 7.0/7.0 GPA at The University of Western Australia studying mechanical engineering and astrophysics. He has been a private tutor in physics, maths and chemistry for three years. Other interests include soccer and tennis.
Nick is currently a second year MBBS student at the University of Sydney after having completed undergraduate studies in immunology and biochemistry. Prior to starting medicine, he conducted research into immune mechanisms of transplantation tolerance. He has a passion for teaching and has taught biology from high school through to undergraduate level in a variety of settings. Nick scored in the top 1% for Section III in the GAMSAT.
Will completed a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science (Hons) in Physiology at the University of Sydney in 2014. Apart from science, Will has a keen interest in modern history. In his time away from study he enjoys playing rugby, surfing and reading.Will scored in the top 1% for section II of the GAMSAT.
Cancho is a second year Bachelor of Science student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in the life sciences. He has previously worked as a private tutor for science and maths, and also attended the Australian Chemistry Olympiad for the country’s top 24 high school chemists. His other passions include film, playing and watching any form of sport, in particular football. Cancho scored in the top 1% for Section III of the GAMSAT as a first year.
Edward studied an extended major in Immunology at the University of Queensland and tutored in public health in brisbane before moving to Sydney to commence the doctor of medicine at Sydney university in 2014. Edward has extensive theory and benchside knowledge in molecular biology techniques and chemistry. Edward scored in the 90th percentile for sections 1 and 3 and the 99th percentile for section 2.
Michelle is a currently completing a double degree of law and commerce (management) at the University of Adelaide. She has a range of experience in marketing and customer relations and with such knowledge aims to direct the Adelaide team to provide the best service possible. In her spare time Michelle enjoys a range of activities including fitness, cooking and reading.
