GradReady's third event of the year is a free GAMSAT® Exam Essay Seminar to help you get a head start on acing Section II of the GAMSAT® Exam

Essay writing skills generally take time to develop, which means starting your GAMSAT® preparation early is a key to success. A dedicated GAMSAT study plan gives those writing skills room to improve before exam day.

The speaker will teach you how to “find the theme”, which will allow you to respond to the stimuli effectively. To build confidence with similar stimuli, you can also practise with GradReady's GAMSAT® Section 2 prompts. To combat the immense time pressure of the GAMSAT® Exam, you will also be taught how to plan an essay structure in a short timeframe. Then we will cover the 4 steps to writing a good essay. To cap it off, you will be shown a few tips on how to utilise your existing knowledge to generate engaging and targeted essay content. The seminar is provided free of charge, and you can keep building afterwards with GradReady's free GAMSAT preparation materials.

Established by medical students at the University of Melbourne in 2010, GradReady helped over 1000 students prepare for the 2016 March GAMSAT® Exam. Since its entrance, GradReady has improved the average GAMSAT scores of its students consistently.

If you are still mapping the broader pathway, start with a clear overview of how to become a doctor in Australia. You can then review the graduate entry medicine requirements that sit alongside a strong Section II result.
