The correct answer is C.
A is wrong because α-ketone transferase cannot react with an aldehyde. B is incorrect as although an aromatic ring could conceivably be generated in some cases, there are many more where it isn’t (e.g. cyclopentanone). C is correct - if the ketone is not symmetrical there are two ways the double bond can go, but there is no way there can be more than two products. D is incorrect - consider a methylcyclopentanone, where there are two unique products depending on the direction of bond formation.
