GradReady is proud to present GAMSAT® Exam Essay Seminar to help you get a head start on acing Section II of the GAMSAT® Exam. Essay writing skills generally take time to develop, which means starting your GAMSAT® preparation early—and building a realistic GAMSAT study schedule—is a key to success. The speaker at the session will have extensive experience teaching GAMSAT® Exam essay writing and will have scored in the top 1% in the section. This free seminar is designed for anyone sitting the Graduate Medical School Admissions Test who wants a stronger Written Communication strategy.
The speaker will teach you how to “find the theme”, which will allow you to respond to the stimuli effectively. After the session, you can keep practising that skill with our GAMSAT quote generator. To combat the immense time pressure of the GAMSAT® Exam, you will also be taught how to plan an essay structure in a short timeframe. Then we will cover the 4 steps to writing a good essay. To cap it off, you will be shown a few tips on how to utilise your existing knowledge to generate engaging and targeted essay content. The seminar is provided free of charge, and you can continue afterwards with our free GAMSAT preparation materials.
GradReady helped over 1,000 students to prepare for the March 2015 GAMSAT® Exam and was established in 2010 by medical students at the University of Melbourne. Current candidates should also review GAMSAT 2026 dates and registration details as they plan their sitting.
Our 2013-14 students scored on average in the 87th percentile of the 2014 March GAMSAT® Exam. For context on how percentiles and results are interpreted, see our guide to GAMSAT® scores. See additional information at:

If you are still deciding where those essays might take you, our overview of Australian medical schools and a separate guide to graduate entry medicine requirements can help you shortlist options.
